Price seems high when compared to what you can get from a comparable unit from an quality aftermarket system. However, part of what you are paying for is keeping everything OEM BMW. The question comes down to whether you think it's worth paying a few extra $$ for a BMW system.

Thanks UCrew...which aftermarket systems do you recommend? If it's just as good or better than the quality of the OEM BMW and looks stock, I would rather go that route and save a few $. I checked with the stealer and the same unit goes for $2300 plus whatever installation would be.

Saw that one, but it's 3 years old and is gray; I would need a black one. It would be great if I could find one for that price; I'd buy it in a heartbeat, as I'm sure most here would.

saw the same system go for $750 recently on ebay...

These are nice indeed and great price for two separate DVD players.
