BMW Mk4 Upgrade to V32 Over V32

Hi

I have aquired what I assume is a hacked V32 firmware for my v4 16:9 navigation system. This adds night mode I believe, and also gives me audiable alterts from a speed camera database on my Navigation DVD.

The problem is that this update is V32, and my sytem isalready running the genuine V32. I attempted the upgrade and I saw the upgrade notice on the screen, but it almost instantly completed - I didnt see any progress bar like last time so I dont think it actually did anything.

Can somebody tell me what I need to do please? Can I use the firmware file on the CD to burn a fresh disc with a higher number? Do I need to downgrade somehow?
