Sat nav voiceover

Is there anyway to hack/turn off the annoying voice overs on the stock sat nav (mkIV) so that i can just use the visual instructions? Im fed up with the annoying bint interupting my music every 2 minutes when i use it.

Not permanently, but on a case by case basis you simply depress the right control button to bring the pop up menu to the screen. Press and hold the same button and you should see that it mutes the nav volume.

If you want to do it permanently, you can simply yank a wire out of the radio module that feeds the audio from the nav drive.

Perfect thanks, will the radio/cd still cut out when the nav audio would otherwise have interupted?
