Nav Symbols. What Do They Mean?

hey guys,
sorry for the stupid post.

but i cant find a key map or explanation as to what the different colours and symbols mean in my nav unit?
i am on v32 mkIV and i always see roads in yellow and red and some have black triangles, but ive got no idea what these mean.

The small black triangles (on the road) are displaying traffic hold ups ahead on the road you are on, the arrow points in the direction that the hold up is in.
