Vehicle Position Issue with MKIV

Need help guys... I just upgraded to MKIV unit and 16:9 screen and everything works fine except for the vehicle position.

I used my original 2000.2 navigation CD and the GPS does not show the vehicle in the right position. I tried putting in the location of the vehicle in the "Input Location" option and it does not store the location.

Shouldn't the vehicle automatically located via satellite?

Is there something I have to do so that the vehicle is properly located?

thanks in advance
