Easiest way is to complain that something is wrong with it .... a classic know problem is that the display brightness is never remembered.

You set it ... to say brighter ... and then a few days later it returns to its default setting.

They have never fixed the bug ... but they will probably install new software to "try" and fix it.

As for map updates ... well ... do a internet search. I think you'll be able to deal with that yourself, no problem.
