Nav DVD --> CD

I have the 2011 maps as an iso and have burnt them to dvd, however im getting the 'Cannot Read Disc' error coming up on the splash screen.

Ive had the same error in the past and have since replaced the laser in the nav unit, and while this made it work initially, its gone back to not working again, which is making me think the unit is having issues with the copied DVD-r.

I was thinking of trying to burn the iso onto a CD to see if this makes any difference, but the file is obviously way too big at the moment, so is there a way to delete part of the iso (ie, all of the european maps apart from the uk) so that it will fit onto a 700Mb disc?

TIA

The original navigation DVD 2011 Europe is 7+ GB. You will be able to cut some of the languages for POIs, but even then the resulting .ISO will be more than 700MB. The only way to have map on CD is to buy or to receive it as a gift e.g. from the net .
