Burning software image problem

I am a new owner of a X3 and came across numerous sites that u post on about the sat nav software.

The software on my car is 4-1/01 but unsure which one it is and seems to run in 2 languages at once.

To try and sort this I was hoping to download and install the software on here.

I tried downloading 2 files - Night mode with amber logo and the M logo files.
I downloaded imgburn too, however whenever I try to burn the image I keep getting a "Invalid or unsupported image file format - Reason, Only single track images are supported. Do you have any idea why I'm getting this error?

I did burn the image using Nero but nothing happened when I followed the instructions to install it.

Appreciate any help u can give me.

Jamie

01 is a modded version of the OS and probably has nightmore and the alert on/off hack.

The 2 languages are English and French (right?).

this is because you are (probably) running the OS in alert off mode, you need to read the caveats of this software.

Alert on is the default, off is only a temp measure as the TV, ULF and TMC have there own voile and language files and therefor display the wrong language when alerts are off.

?? not sure what this error is TBH, how big is the file that you are trying to burn?

So you download and unzip correct? and you select the iso/img file in the software.

How are you trying to burn the image?

I've not used nero to try and burn a disc so can't comment.

That would make sense as only seems to be French on TV or Telephone modes. How do I read the caveats of the software?

I downloaded the v32_all_m3-4_amber_mlogo and used WinRAR to extract it to a .nrg file that is 325MB and also the v32_all_m3-4_amber_ring which extract to a .nrg file that is 308MB.

I downloaded imgburn and tried to use that. from opening program all i did was click on "wrie image file to disc" then the folder icon under source. It's when i select either file from there I get the error. I haven't changed any settings or clicked on anything else on imgburn.

Not sure why it isn't working and even tried on a different computer and got the same error.

Read the POISON thread (do a search).

Sounds about right, what speed did you burn at? (use the slowest rated for the disc for best results).

Hmmm, that should do it.
