MK3 16:9 looks like 4:3

Hello,

I have a big problem with my MK3 screen. She looks like 4:3 .
I tried several updates of FW, disconnecting video-module, radio-module...
When I start that in safe mode, 4:3...!

Now i have an V32 night-mode software.

Please, please help me.. I am so sad .

And I have a second question - have you some easy recipe for unmount it?

Thanks a lot!

I'm not an expert, but by searching I found this http://www.xoutpost.com/electronics/...ng-16-9-a.html Which contains the following information on video modules.

6 902 015/016 *may only work for small 4x3 screens!
6 903 727/728 *may only work for small 4x3 screens!
6 906 923/924 *may only work for small 4x3 screens!
6 911 221/222 *may only work for small 4x3 screens!
6 916 136/137 *works with both small 4x3 and 16:9 wide screens!
6 924 749/750 *works with both small 4x3 and 16:9 wide screens!
6 923 268 *works with both small 4x3 and 16:9 wide screens!
6 923 418 *works with both small 4x3 and 16:9 wide screens!
6 936 096 *works with both small 4x3 and 16:9 wide screens!
6 936 759 *works with both small 4x3 and 16:9 wide screens!
6 945 298 Kit P/N 65 50 0 153 183 *works with both small 4x3 and 16:9 wide screens!
6 946 423 *works with both small 4x3 and 16:9 wide screens!
4 124 836 *works with both small 4x3 and 16:9 wide screens!
6 953 003/002 *works with both small 4x3 and 16:9 wide screens!

Check you VM number.. If it is your VM there used to be places that could recode the VM to work with wide screens, search these forums to find them.

^^ As above, defiantly the TV module mate, you need a one from a 16:9 car, when swapping the screen from 4:3 you also need to swap the TV module.

As you do not need the TV module any longer (analog TV is switched off) you may disconnect the TV module and connect the Monitor to the MK4 directly.

16:9 or 4:3 is a setting in TV tuner menu.
