Sat Nav Upgrade V32 Probs

Hi Guys
I have an X5 e53 2005 diesel sport. I recently bought v32 upgrade and a new 2012 High disc to what I thought would upgrade my satnav system which was working perferctly well before but obviously old system. I have completed the insructions but there is no 3D available on the screen, the screen is a murky colour and there is no SET in the main menu anymore and I just wondered if you guys could help me or advise me what to do. I contacted the guy I bought it from on ebay- he has been really helpful and sent new discs but still no change to the system and still have SET missing from main menu. He said this has never happened before and all his discs usually upgrade perfectly and it seems other customers have never had any probs??. Please help! Really appreciate any advice.
Many thanks
Cliff
