MKIV, will map load faster with a burn DVD instead of CD?
Just upgrade my Gps from MKiii to MKiv, the different in speed is amazing although Map loading is still a bit slow to my liking. Is this because i'm using a CD (burnt 2010 Aust map) instead of using a DVD since MKiv is DVD base? Thanks

No. I noticed this too. Speed is better with OE DVD. A burnt copy seems to be slower. Mine is also a single layer DVD. When I insert a copied DVD, it seems slower.

All "burned DVDs" are not equal. Media used an write speed/drive can dictate copy quality....
