just a quick question about broken mkiv

my car originally had a mkiii in it whih apparently has been bricked so im loking at upgrading to a mkiv. i have a friend with a mkiv that power cycles every 10-15 seconds is this a fairly easy/cheap fix?

The only time I have heard of constant MKIV rebooting is when it is trying to read a copied map DVD. Test it with an original map disk to see if that improves it. If not, try it without any map disk at all.

If it needs a new laser, there are several posts here about replacing the laser.

Autotronic in Australia fixed my water damaged MK4. Great service and very professional. Highly recommend.
