So get the at least the 6th gen? I read that this module are also software upgradeable regardless of which gen ulf module.

As For ipod intravee II is the best right now in the market? I saw an ebay listing for complete OEM ipod retrofit kit. What is the differents between the intravee route?

Well, I have heard that, but I've not actually seen it done or how its done.

Do some reading mate, but the gist of it is that the OEM bmw kit is crap with no control, where as the Intravee has full control, full integration and full ID3 info on screen.
