Parts need to upgrade to OEM NAV (e46 already attached with OEM 16:9 with TV)

Asking on behalf of a friend here.. His car comes with OEM 16:9 with TV and Phone option, but does not comes with nav. He's not interested in aftermarket unit.

He's asking what are the parts needed to upgrade to OEM NAV function.

What I can think of straight is the MK4 DVD and the GPS Antenna. Am I correct or there are anything else missing?

You will need the nav retrofit loom, the nav computer and gps antenna, I dont have a part number for the loom I'm afraid, it should be plug and play though.

Received with thanks!

Just to be precise.. His car 16:9 screen, Harmon Kardon, phone and TV but no Nav. Chassis number JR06231

I was also told that this P/N 61120309250 will work by one of the ebay seller.

Have you tried your dealer mate, the parts guys are normally very good at this sort of thing.

That part number is for the complete bmw nav retrofit loom mate and is NO GOOD for you.

Its more likely to be something like one of these....

61 12 6901550 Connecting lead, navigation
61 12 6919758 Connecting lead, navigation, MK III

However these are examples of the type of loom you are looking for, YOU need to check that they fit before you buy.
