Are you still looking for the Philips unit or the Sharp unit which BMW installed?

I have an 03 screen that is going out. It look like small tears are starting to form. Can I actually replace It with an aftermarket screen?

The displays can be found on eBay for $125-ish, the trouble is that they ship out of China. The screens are Sharp, so they should work fine. I ordered one that never arrived. Turns out they ship without tracking numbers, and somebody in Customs does not like the way the forms are completed, so they get pulled out of the shipment. Whatever... Mine never arrived.

Somebody posted a link to one that ships from the USA, but the cost is $195.
