Weird auto climate control behavior

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but when I put the fan all the way up and have the temp at 85 degrees, it doesn't stay ON as expected. It goes ON then in awhile turns itself OFF, and that repeatedly. The AUTO is not lit. The other 3 modes (feetwell, windows and toward the upper body are ON). The auto on the display is not ON either (for fan control).
Is this the way it's supposed to be or something is messed up.
I thought it is the fuse, but the blower does work. Just not as I want it to work...
