not if Kelleners is priced at $798 for the valvetronic.

The funny thing is Kelleners charges $898 for the 4.8 and 4.6. so for those with the 4.6, Powerchip at $590 is the way to go.

sorry about that. i was speaking on my behalf.
for me, having a 4.6is, Powerchip is the best choice.

although, as u mentioned b4; if/when BMW flashes
ur PCM and kills ur "mod," then what?:dunno:

Per Powerchip from today:

"If your vehicle is flashed, then we are easily able to put the new program in.
The only costs you will face in this event are a $50 reflash fee, and shipping to have the equipment [cables] sent out (same rate as normal)."

$399 for the jet chip..hmmmm we should get more info from them. I would want to make sure it works for the '05 4.4.

Are they still located in Santa Monica, CA?

Hmmm, what will this do to gas mileage?

djbock 03-08-2006 01:14 AM

I sent an email to jetchip yesterday. Got an automated one back saying that it will take up to 48hrs to get a response back. Nothing as of right now, but will post it once I get it.
