Job Interview Question

Contemplate this Job Interview Question. The answer will come when the site comes back up. If you know the answer let others contemplate how they would solve this moral/ethical dilemma. Remember it's just for fun.

You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night. You pass by a bus stop, and you see three people waiting for the bus:

1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
2. An old friend who once saved your life.
3. The perfect man (or) woman you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only be one passenger in your car.

Think before you continue reading. This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application.

since it's for fun

it's not #3 because there is no such thing as a perfect man or woman.

it's not #1 because there is no compelling reason to help her out besides the assumption that she looks like she needs help. Who knows? She might be some psychopath. Although i could provide reasons for it being #1

I think it's #2 i just don't know why.

No 1: I chose this one because its dark and she could be easily taken advanatage.
No 2: I already thanked him/her for saving my life and should have moved from that.
No 3: She may not be that perfect at all.

that's easy with 1 caveat - it has to be the perfect woman...

give the car keys to the old friend who once saved your life and have him drive the old lady home. Go chill with the perfect woman... done! except is only somewhat moral/ethical.. LOL

That question is so old that any company that would use it as an interview question probably isn't worth working at. If someone asked me that in an interview i'ld probably walk out.... unless the job was Playboy staff photographer :)

drex 01-17-2006 06:24 PM
