I used this one and the sound is terrible! I didn't want to specify which model but I couldn't help it. The only good thing about it is it's weight.

Wait for the Motorola H5 MiniBlue...have some friends who attended CES in vegas a couple weeks ago, they tested this out and said it will totally change the way bluetooth headsets are designed.

I heard about that. Motorola has some info on their site. The cost is going to be a big deterrent for me. It'll be new so the price will likely be $150 and up. I'm also a little skeptical of the "bones in your ear" mic. Does those really work?

One thing I really like about the Plantronics 640 is that the holder is like a big pen so you can clip it in your shirt or jacket pocket. No fishing around the bottom of your pocket for your BT headset.

I have the Moto HS820 as well. The sound quality is quite good IMO. What I don't like is the poor fit and the lack of a lanyard. Carrying that thing around in my pocket is a pain because it's very easy to accidentally hit the dial button.

I have a wired headset with a "bone" mic. It actually works well because it doesn't pick up ambient noise as easily. You have to talk a little louder though. Fit is important as you need good solid contact with that kind of mic.

Exactly! I have either turned it off inadvertantly or called someone because the headset is in the bottom of my pocket and I lean on it or something. :mad:
