Bluetooth earpiece recommendation.
 

Hi all. Aside from the bluetooth unit inside the X5 through the speakers, what is the best and most comfortable bluetooth headset out there these days? I'm not quite comfortable with the flimsy-hanging free Motorola BT headset I got w/ my E815. Thanks!

The Sony Ericsson and Nokia ones get my vote.

I tried a couple of SE and Motorola's as well as a few off brands. I would suggests you actually go out and try them on YOUR ear. As they do fit differently for different people.

Pair your phone to them and make a few calls; some are actually louder then others.

I have a SE HBH 660 which is their top of the line bluetooth headset and it works great for me. I volume is excellent; I tried others and people say I'm not that loud and I honesty have trouble hearing them. But with this; no problems. It's lightweight and has a caller id display. The nosie cancellation works like a charm and it doesn't pick up any unnecessary noises.

One of the best designs, but you pay for it.

I picked up a pair of Body Glove EarGlove BlueVoice bluetooth headsets on woot about a month ago. Very comfortable, excellent sound, and I couldn't beat the price. They were $25 for a 2-pack ;)

I've seen a number of these on Ebay for around the $25 mark. Seems cheap for a good BT headset. Why? I haven't seen these in person-are they bulky?

No, not bulky at all. They fit comfortably behind the ear and are extremely light. I've used quite a few different kinds and this is one of my favorite.

Plantronics (voyager) you can pair it with differecnt phones at the same time. I recommend it. I am in the wireless business. Thanks

I have a 811 and it works well when I am not in the car

I have been using a Moto HS820. It's actually my second one because they are kind of fragile. It works okay but does not stay on very well. The sound could stand to be louder too. It is lightweight though.

I am waiting for the Plantronics 640. It is very cool looking and I really like the design. It "lives" in a pen-like holder that also acts as a recharger with an AAA battery. The cool part is that the holder will vibrate when the a call is received. The in-ear design might turn some people off but I thing it is the only way to get good sound in noisy surroundings.

Anyone using this model? It's on backorder pretty much everywhere. I have ordered one and am waiting eagerly.
