if you want constant problems buy a dell or gateway.....

find a low end IBM/lenovo thinkpad, you'll be fine.

stay away from dell laptops..it's a big POS. I had a 600m for work and the battery life with 11g card enabled was pathetic.. read.. power saving mode = 1 hr tops. Gateway is also crap.

look into the Lenovo's (rebranded IBMs) and also the Fujitsu tablets. A little pricey but awesome investments. Other ones you might want to consider is the Sony Vaio TX series.. very small, great resolution.. all around great travel laptops. i have a fujitsu tablet right now and I love it..
