o i got into stevens, rutgers, montclair, and pace university,
so i am probably going into pace university to be in the city.... and then maybe transferring later on...i really wanna go to like boston or something later on.. we will see :thumbup:

i got my x5 for christmas this last year. I turn 17 in july.

I really feel old, reading these posts. But when I'm in my X5, I'm young again and feel like Mario Andretti, AJ Foyt, Jackie Stewart, Richard Petty, "Big Daddy" Don Garlitis, all rolled into one. And I "drive".

Prices here in New Zealand for cars are very expensive compared to the rest of the world.

ie a new
2006 x5 4.8is retails for $185,000k
2006 x5 4.4 is $148,000k the new M5 is over $250,000k and this is in New Zealand dollars a lot more when converted to US Dollar.

My point is i dont know of any 17yr olds here in NZ that can afford a secondhand bmw x5 let alone a new one.
while driving in New Zealand the X5 comands an air of respect whether new or old.

Some of them earned it the old fashioned way..., they inherited it.

I want to get a bike so I don't have to drive anyone around next year.

I had a 1976 Pontiac Acadian when I was 17. It was a real chick magnet - unfortanately the magnet had the wrong polarity and repelled them.
