WebCam Ideas? Question...

NE1 have any good opins, tips, links for
hooking up a "web cam"? I am looking for
something I, and my Son can get, so I
can see my G'Daughter prancing around
and talking to the cam, and she can see us.

I'm not looking to do movies, reality shows,
(Life w/UncMotor&theCEO is not very enthralling);

just something reasonable in price, easy to hook up,
that allows 2 far apart Fams see each other.

Don't need to spend much. I suggest getting a USB cam that can do 640x480 at 30fps. The others can probably chime in with model numbers if helps. I've used logitech, creative, sony, and some other off-brands and they were all ok as long as there was very good lighting in the room. Sounds like you have a VERY good reason to get one :thumbup:

i am very satisfied with my USB Logitech webcam.( although i would get an " iSight" if i have a mac)

I have used logitech and they have good web cams.

md- Marta uses a Logitech cam and a program called Skype to converse with relatives over in Poland all the time. Good lighting in the room is key, and with a mic, Skype allows you to have a videophone type of conversation.
