Oh ok, so "relative" to NJ, but CA and AZ relative to most other states is quite high I believe.

Fully Comp Ins full EU cover: £390. It does go in your favour over here if you are over 50 and female.

In the States, if you travel outside your State, are you still covered fully comp?

Yes, and sometimes including Canada. You cannot legally register a car in say, Oklahoma and then keep and use the car in a higher-risk urban area like New York or Boston, but if you are just travelling around, then no problem. You just can't use the vehicle for commercial purposes or race it.
