Leather furniture question
 

Are you familiar with the brand "Chateau dax"? I know their stuff is manufactured in Northern Italy, and I'm 99% sure that it is analine dyed. I found this group at Robinson's May. I'm interested in the "espresso" color, see swatch pics. I will say this much, the leather is very thick, and buttery soft :)

I'm just looking for feedback from anyone familiar with the brand.

It ain't cheap, but it is US made. We have a few pieces...maybe 2-3 years old and they still look new.

The site doesn't mention anything about their dye process, and IMO Italian leathers are higher quality due to fewer blemishes.

Yeah our last couches in the entrance room of the last place were leather, really nice chocolate ones (about 5 shades darker then my truffle interior) and they were great, got them at Jerome's for like 1k, which to me wasn't bad for leather that had that "worm" look to it. (which I like the whole modern thing). I too have always heard Italian Leathers are best thou, ours wasn't the highest quality but very durable which is what I cared about because we beat the crap out of it! GL :thumbup:
