But it is supposed to be extremely nice, and because of the favorable exchange rate, also inexpensive compared to many of the other vacation spots in Caribbean.

Did you forget to mention if Cuba stamps your passport its a massive fine? They are serious about us not going there, no messing around, I've been, it is beautiful but not 25,000 fine beautiful.

Cuba is nice but the food is awful. Wouldnt want to have gone there for my honeymoon when there is so much more the world has to offer...

thats where tipping off the immigration officer in cuba comes in to play ;) , in order to not stamp it. you slip $100, which is enough tomake them happy for a month....i have never done it, but my relatives in canada had it planned out for me to go with them, nice little adventure just because of the fact that going to cuba as an american is taboo, i was also told by someone at an embassy that you can fill out a waiver in order to go as a U.S.C., but dont hold me to it...and i hear its a very beautiful place, and worth the trip.

Its ok, not special to me, the food isn't that great, I went along time ago thou with my family (mission trip)

Yeah...I'm pretty sure they will not stamp your passport. I don't think you have to bribe anyone. Cuba is well aware of the potential fines, and they are trying to encourage Americans to go there. I'm pretty sure they work with you when it comes to that so as to make sure you do not get in trouble.

There sure are some beautiful places to visit. It's really going to be tough to figure out our trip. The Wedding will be on June 14th. What will the temps be in the Carribean/Hawaii around then. Also is that Hurricane season or will this be early enough?

Hurricane season starts June 1 every year, ending Nov 30.

You'll likely be fine in the Caribribean in June--that is early for a hurricane. In fact, imho it's a great time to go. That is off season so the deals on the hotels will be excellent!!

Any idea what the temps are at that time in the Caribean
