Take the Range for example: It's the Worst every year in JD Powers rankings. You never stop hearing the negatives about it, but there are people that have had no problems what so ever... But if you were stuck on just listening to the negatives, you won't even give the SUV a chance.

You take away your own ability to think if you listen to peoples opionons. Range Rovers are great SUV's. There are a few that have had there share of problems but that goes with any manufacture...

Take this: if you want a Pink Hummer because you love it and everyone disses the bad mileage, the bad whatever... You take that into consideration right? But at the end of the day, it's YOUR OPIONON that matters most. It's what you want, and need. Not what anybody else thinks. If your heart tells you to go with it regardless, you would right?

If you're on the fence between coupe and sedan, get the sedan.

Whenever I buy ANY car, my first thought is RESALE. Second is functionality. Third is RESALE. Never understood coupes. Unless we're talking ///M of course. But otherwise, most people I know with them get fed up with them after a while. And sedans sell quicker. A lot quicker. And you'll always have instances where people/friends will accompany you somewhere. The mall, whatever. Also, four doors just look better IMHO. Get the 330xi.

We've covered this many times over in the last few weeks, some of the threads getting pretty long. So far we have helped you with what you need the most (until you test drive, to narrow down your list)- assessing your needs and which vehicles will fullfill those duties- and also what we think of the cars on your list. Perhaps, it's time to go back and reread those threads. Next step now really, as ben pointed out, is for you to get your butt in the driver's seats.

rule of thumb for me is to buy the car I like the look off the most exterior and interior.

My money would be on the Mini no surprise there then.:)

:iagree:

CJ, I'm with Vig...

It's a car, not a lifetime partner.

You seem to go through cars every couple years,
so this "selection" doesn't appear to be a half a decade
commitment. :)

Park your butt in a bunch and buy what you like, and
what M&D will cover.
