Anyone else feel it?

It's in the air, in the subtle differences in the sky. Summer is winding down. I feel like I know I'm about to lose my best friend and I can't do anything about it. Have I ever told you guys I LOVE SUMMER?!?!?!?!

I walk every morning. I find myself leaving later and later waiting for the sun to come up. Back to school sales already. I'm going to lose it when I hear are you ready for some football

X5Jay - I know you must feel it too.

You know Josh, It's not so much the weather. Yeah, it gets cold but I get in the X, heated seats, heated steering wheel. (just like my first car... '73 Ford LTD  ) It's not like when I worked in NYC and had to take public transportation and freeze my ass off dealing with the elements.

It's the sun depravation. I hate when they change the clocks! Dark at 4:30 pm (Argghh, the first week of rush hour in the dark :banghead: God forbid it rains :scared:), still dark when I get up...It changes my disposition.

The past two days have been sooooooooooo nice! Highs in the upper 70s/low 80s, EXTREMELY low humidity, beautiful skies...I could get used to this!

Don't get me wrong, the weather has been wonderful. I shut the air today and opened the windows. Breeze coming through and I can hear the crickets. I feel the impending doom of winter.

No, don't feel it. It'll be summer for a couple of more months.

I do visit up north on occasion, and the sun depravation is very hard to get used to.

Two summers ago, starting about this time, we started to have hurricanes every weekend for about 5 weeks. You go without power every weekend in late Aug thru Sept in Florida, and you know summer's not over.
