The people of Iran went to the streets after 9/11 with candles . What other Muslim nation did that?

& Iran is run by a mullah in a towel and he has all final say in the matters of Iran. Iran is not a democracy. His name is Khameini. He wasn't elected into power.

You have too much hate inside of you. It's dangerous

BMW X5 08-15-2006 03:37 PM

call it what you will, i dont go around kicking anyones ass regardless of how much i want to, but i do steer clear. i am acting in self defence. arabs are muslim muslims are not arab but i dont know that from a distance, unfortunately for the i like my life a bit too much to find out the hard way so i steer clear. if they have a problem then do something, stop supporting terrorists stop harboring them giving them money charity etc... stop speaking out against Israel, they havent done anything but want to exist, they pulled out of Gaza and that didnt do jack shit. they tried peace and that was broken, how come no other nation speaks out against Israel? or how about that article that someone posted earlier regarding Sweden and muslims there? from a distance I look Irish and if today they would say all Irish are bad well i wouldnt blame them for thinking i'm bad but i would sure as hell try and prove to them that i'm not like them, the muslim/arab whatever you want to call it population does not do shit all they do is bitch and moan and then we arrest them because of obvious reasons like they wanted to bomb the shit out of the tunnels in NYC or hijack more planes.

Aimster 08-15-2006 03:43 PM

You seem to have more hate towards Muslims than Muslims have towards you.

So who do you think is the one to watch out for?

BMW X5 08-15-2006 04:00 PM

not me, i dont hate them for being muslim i hate them for doing what they do and what they support or rather dont support. long story short, can you figure out who on the street is going to walk with a briefcase into a train and blow it up? NO, as a result you must watch out for anyone who resembles the profile right? YES, much like if say a white boy rapes a girl in a particular part of town where there are many whiteboys with the same characteristic say blue eyes and blond hair then everyone will watch out for them (reason i'm using white is because i dont want to get flamed for being racist) now the arab/muslim population has not given me much reason to believe they are good when all i see after looking around is this one has this plot and that one has that plot. I've worked with muslims, matter of fact my ex coworker a Malasian girl married a Russian Jew like me from same town as me. they now have a child, she is muslim he is Jew. unfortunately she is one of the few, her parents were not at the wedding, but neither were his. point i'm trying to make is i am aware that they are not all loonatics but from a distance i cant tell and on the street id rather walk around than face the possible concequences. and id rather buy from a store not owned by them to avoid the posibility of my own money going to support the people who want us dead

:bsflag: :clueless:

A majority (over 50%) is required. If no candidate gets 50%, then they have a run-off between the two top candidates.

In the Iranian election last year, there were 7 candidates, not "hundreds". Ahmadinejad came in 2nd in the first round with 19%, and then won the run-off with 61%.

First Round:

Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani - 6,159,453 (21.01%)
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - 5,710,354 (19.48%)
Mehdi Karroubi - 5,066,316 (17.28%)
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf - 4,075,189 (13.9%)
Mostafa Moeen - 4,054,304 (13.83%)
Ali Larijani - 1,740,163 (5.94%)
Mohsen Mehralizadeh - 1,289,323 (4.4%)
Blank (no vote for president on ballot) - 1,221,940 (4.17%)

Voter Turnout: 62.66%

Second Round (run-off):

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - 17,284,782 (61.69%)
Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani - 10,046,701 (35.93%)
Blank (no vote for president on ballot) - 663,770 (2.37%)

Voter Turnout: 59.6%

Plus Iran's President is not even the leader of Iran. He has no powerr to do anything.

Don't forget that Iranians are Persians, not Arabs.

When you say this, I had a quick vision of that episode of All in the Family where the meat head was trying to explain to Archie that Chinese and Japanese people are different.

Since the goverment reflects the people, we should not feel bad if we nuke them all.

Nothin' like the Meathead/Archie debates. TV is less now...
