I paid $3.01 today for 93 at Shell!! That's almost $0.30 cheaper than last week!!!

The cheapest I saw for 93 was $2.99 at another Shell station. Cars were waiting on the street for gasoline from that station.

We're paying $2.82 right now...

Whoo-hoo!

We got some Premo for 2.88 in Stauton, VA, area at a
Sheetz, (as in "no sheetz!),on Tuesday. About 12cts/gal
cheaper than here in western NC. It's trickling down,
but slowly and, only until the first real 'Cane of the season.

Ahhh...I've said it before, and I'll say it again:

You people in the USA are SOOOO babied with gas prices that it just makes me mad when someone complains that they paid $3.50 or whatever per gallon.

In Canada, it's "good" if you pay the equivalent of $3.50 per gallon, and when our fuel prices spike, we're talking into the $4.20 area.

And let's nor forget Europe - where the norm is to pay about $4.00 per gallon without a fuel price spike.

Sorry for the rant - I just laugh everytime someone complains from a rate that many people around the world would gladly wish to pay.

$2.99 here in South Bend.

Jealous much :nanana:
At least you knew where your fuel rates were a year ago...where as our crazy ass land decided to increase by nearly 50%.

Actually I don't think Iran would trade its less than a dollar gas with us anyday.

Hey Bavarian...

If you're so upset with us complaining about gas $$$ and how you'd wish you can pay what we're paying...then move over here.

Paid $3.11 at Costco yesterday (just happened to pass by, never tried it before). Traffic was SO bad yesterday, we were literally sitting in traffic with the AC on in the X3. I reset the MPG counter to see how bad it could get in stop-and-go (more of the former). Wow, 8.1mpg by the time we passed that intersection.........

Prices are going down though! Now if I could just find a gas station that DOESN'T serve 10% ethanol gas.

Yeah...since schools are about to start (I guess teachers are back to work) traffic has been HELL this week! I averaged 450 miles per tank all summer. This past week, I was on empty at 360 miles

Paid 2.89/gal for Sunoco 93 octane on Wed night around here....I think it was 'on sale' or something like that....
