Well, actually, no. On the left denial that murder took place, not murder itself.

The cartoon is misleading. The law doesn't prohibit the denial of the holocaust. The law prohibits the promotion of hate, which unfortunately usually goes along with the denial of the holocaust.

Actually, that is not true. In many European countries, including Denmark, you can go to prison for saying that the holocaust did not happen.

While I obviously believe that these people are misguided and what they say is total BS, I do not think they should go to prison.

Back to the main post and what you guys were saying was some pretty F-ed-Up shit.. You cant judge all muslims to what some radicals are doing in the middle east. Im a white Sunni muslim and i dont appreciate how you guys speak about Islam. If you ignorate people actually went outside of your box and what you call life and spoke to a muslim and see that there not like what you people think they are. You people probably dont even know what Islam is. So when you learn about the religion and have enough info about it to actually speak wisely about it you really should keep your comments to yourself. and fyi the pope has come out and said sorry for his comments

Well the day I see a huge group of Muslims coming out against what other Muslims are doing in a nation OTHER than the United States, I'll be on board with the whole "don't lump us together" stuff. And last I checked there was no mention of ISLAM in any response......aside from a drawing and portion of a quote.

Why must society in general walk on eggshells around the religion of Islam? You don't see nearly the caution when discussing any other religion. In a few countries they were burning a likeness of the Pope, how about if some Christians burned a likeness of Mohammed......there would be calls for executions by "non-radical" Muslims...as we all saw with the Danish cartoons. I for one do not understand why Islam seems to believe it is on a higher, untouchable, pedestal than any other religion. Feel free to explain why Islam is so much more sacred then Catholicism or any other *ism for that matter.
