2nd year, 2nd boat :)

OK.. I was going to get an E70, but I decided to get another toy instead... She's a Passport 40 sailboat, 40 foot, capable of doing transatlantic crossings. She's currently in Annapolis but we'll be sailing her up the Chesapeake, across the Chesapeake/Delaware Canal, down the Delaware river, around Cape May, up the Jersey coast, into New York Harbor, turning left at the Statue of Liberty, heading up the Hudson River, taking her mast down in Albany and then transiting the Champlain Canal to ultimately bring her into lake Champlain. It should be a fun trip in April. Pics are here.

Thanks... yep.. jumping from our Precision 23 to the Passport 40. It's a big move. In 12 months we're going to start construction on our 3rd, and hopefully final, boat - a Passport 515CC.

Welcome back Labatt! I hope all is well.

Do you still have a P car in the garage?

Nice boat, Labatt! That's a beautiful seaworthy vessel (and not missing any motors). ;)

Great looking vessel and the trip in April sounds like a fantastic way to get to know the girl.

Really nice boat.

When are you planning on taking the trip?

I been up the Erie and Champlain channel many times in the 80's.
