What if Blu-ray goes the way of BetaMax? Expensive DVD player you got there.

Sure it doesn't but it's also only $250. Assuming there is a winner in the HD-DVD vs. Blu-Ray, I don't mind waiting it out, or if they have a good dual format player, I'll get one later.

I'm not knocking the PS3. It has its virtues. It's just awfully expensive to not have all the bells and whistles, including WiFi on all PS3 models. If you haven't tried a Wii you've got to. It's a blast.

I doubt that will happen anytime soon as things stand now, with major studios support(and SONY owning some of them and Panasonic others) combined with other benefits on blu-ray than HD-DVD. ;)

I agree, I was just making a point that to buy a PS3 for a blu-ray player that'll probably cost a couple hundred dollars when things get sorted out....
I think the PS3 is a nice system but it wi-fi should be in all models.
