I drove one and found that the steering got REAL light at speed, do you have the same experience?

Boy, is this thing ugly, especially from the rear with those 2 HUGE tailpipes.
Inside is even worse with typical domestic ergonomics. yikes! Maybe fast in a straight lane on dry pavement, but thros some road imperfections and some water or snow and it will not be sucha joy to ride LOL Think about taking corners at high speed? Forget about it! LOL |

Wow! I know this is THE X5 site, but we gotta stop hatin' on the SRT8. It is a Monster plain and simple. With its hunkered down stance and big ass wheels and tires and centered exhaust, its a beaut too......and why would you want to try and two something with it?....... it is not made for towing (I mean, I am quite sure thats not a target demo.). You want a Jeep that tows? Get the 5.7 hemi. And as far as the cheap lookin' interior...... they gotta keep cost down somewhere. Shit, name another SAV pushing over 400 ponies, brand-spanking new under 45K. Go ahead.
Yeah, thought so............ |
