That's pretty old, isn't that when Jim Carey was on In Living Color? or something like that. Funny as hell.

I was working at 'nilla's record label back in the 90's, it was a horrible experience. One of our senior execs was overheard at an industry party saying that he was embarrassed to have vanilla ice on the label and it made the front page of Variety and Billboard.... ugly ugly.

I remember that episode. In Living Color was and still is one of my old time favorite TV shows. Carey and Damon Wayans were just way too funny.

I'm sure they weren't embarrassed when their saw their profits. ;)

If memory serves me correctly, his album was #1 on the Bilboard Top 200 Album chart for around 20 weeks or so.

It stunk then and it stinks now. :rolleyes:
