What do you consider "cold"?
I was just thinking.. We have so many members from so many different places.. What do you all consider "cold" weather? I just thought it would be interesting to find out.
I consider cold, in the winter, as below 10 degrees Fahrenheit. Right now I consider it frigid. According to our thermometer, it's -3F here, and the wind chill it's close to -20F. |
Anything below +30F is cold in Maryland.
|
Anything below +15 F or so...
|
Anything below 45 degrees...;)
|
I spent 2 years in Chicoutimi (northern Quebec) during my junior hockey days and it got down to -50 celsius more times than I care to remember.
|
Well today when I got to work it was 15 degrees with 40mph wind gusts......an Eskimo would call that cold.
|
cold? cold is walking across town from 8th ave to madison ave and up 5 blocks. cold is getting stuck on the median of Times Square waiting for the light to change.....
TODAY is cold :) once your body goes completely numb it's not so bad :) (12F when i went to work this morning) |
Anywhere below 60F. Unless I'm in the mountains, there's snow on the slopes, and I'm skiing! Then I don't care.
I'm skinny and have like 0% body fat so I chill easily. |

It seems to me that between about 20 and 40 there is no difference, but I live in FLA so anything below 50 degrees is getting chilly
