I don't consider it Sunday, to me it's Saturday night so it's one day as far as I'm concerned.

Technically, yes. But Sunday is the first day we'll really feel it!!!

This sh*t is killing me.... absolutely asanine to change the law.

In your line of business, I feel for ya, Ron. This is where the cliche' "it's all relative" applies, eh?

Being in a business where miliseconds are critical, this is a mess.

The kick in the teeth on this is that the patches that Microsoft released are only for THIS year, so if they leave the law in place, I have to re-patch EVERYTHING in my microsoft environment with a permanent patch.

THEN, on top of that, it's not well known, but there's a provision in the law that says this is a test year, and DST could go back to the original dates next year if this doesn't work out. So if they kill the law, I have to go back and remove the patch from my entire UNIX/Solaris/Linux environment.

Oh well, worse things have happened in life...
