all I am trying to say is that imo...the MDX should not be compared to the X5. I test drove the MDX prior to buying the X5 and I was very very impressed...but once I got inside the X5, the MDX instantly wasnt a consideration. The X5 is far more elegant than the MDX. To me, the MDX looks cheap.

NOW, this is strictly my opinion and everyone has one.

BTW- I have never owned a BMW prior to this, so I would say that my observations were not biased toward BMW.

The author of article mentions that first-gen MDX is based off Honda Pilot when in fact it was Odyssey. Pilot was introduced few years after MDX.

The next generation xdrive and Dynamic Performance control to be introduced in X6 will be better than MDX's SH-AWD. It will also find its way to facelift X5 and next gen X3.

I got my issue today, but didn't have a chance to look at it. I'm hoping the cover means that there is an article on the Romantic Strasse over in Germany, which goes by lots of castles, medieval towns, etc. I've been on parts of it before, it makes for some great touring.

IMHO, BMW should release the twin-turbo engine to replace the X5 3.0si and keep the price the same.
