I have not gotten my copy yet, but I assume there is an article in this month's magazine about the "Romantische Strasse," or "Romantic Road." The Romantische Strasse is a beautiful, two-lane road that winds itself through southern Bavaria. It starts on the outskirts of Munich, and it ends in Austria -- in a GORGEOUS, VERY old, lake-side town named Lindau. If you ever get a chance to drive it, do so. It's a leisurely, three-hour drive or so... you'll see some wonderful (romantic, some would say) scenery, and even Crazy Ludwig's Castle (Newschwanstein), which -- by the way -- was the inspiration for Walt Disney's "castle."

Sure there are plenty of senic attractions in Germany- Flowers and trees and mountains, oh my. There are also some fabulous automotive museums including those of other manufactures.

The cover is therefore encouraging travel. See the passport...travel brochures, CF cards for the camera, and a map in the background. Even a reference for the museums and of course a beer. :beerchug:
