There are a few '03 M5s advertised in the back of Roundel this month...

Thanks for all of the advise. I walked away from the deal for now. My usual salesman was busy so I got stuck with this typical "sales person" First he tried to lowball me on the trade. Then he tried to say that they weren't willing to drop the price at all. Whatever.

I got a call back shortely after I left from my usual salesperson, wait until tomorrow to call him back. They just left a really bad taste in my mouth. This from a dealership that I have nothing but good things to say about in the past.

The vehicle is immaculate. Up to date on service and only has 27k on it. It does have the better wheel. 01 is when they upgraded it. As well as angel eyes. Nothing major fixed on the car, suprising and maybe a little scary. They don't have extended maintenance on the car, only an aftermarket warantee I can buy.

I will check my latest issue. Only got through page 6 or so with my son. He didn't want me to turn the page so that he could keep pointing at the cars. He points at the roundel "bbmmmwwuu".

You mean the E39?

Maybe you can take it for the night, drive it Sunday, and bring it back Mon morning like I did w/ the X5. Leave your car there, so they have it and know you will come back.

Oops, yea that is what I meant.

Didn't even notice. Sure rabbit did, he will probably post another 5k posts to make up for it.

They said that they don't do extended test drives anymore. I guess they got hit with a wrongful death law suit a couple of years back. Somebody rear-ended a lady and kill her and her son instantly.

What kind of things went wrong on yours?
