Anyone see my CD changer?

Some say that the only stupid question is the one not asked, which is probably true, but I also think that "there is an exception to every rule" adage applies as well :)

Total no brainer...unless your current employer is willing to pay you what you're worth. If you want to be civil/political about it, tell your current employer about the offer you received and see if they can do better. If they can't, then bye bye. When do you need to let the owners in Venice know by?

Wait a minute....current employer can not offer broadwalk Venice Beach. Time to blow that popcorn stand.

lol...I'm thinking you just want a place to stay near the beach when you visit LA :nanana: But I'm sure the decision is a bit harder than it looks if we were in M's shoes. M, how many more units will you be managing in Venice? If it's about the same, then leave because I have a feeling your current employer won't be able to match the offer.

:iagree:
...I had 36 units for 8 years, this current building is 50....my workload would become heavier...the three buildings have 66 total units...but the money being offered is very generous....thanks to all for the woids of wisdom....I'm meeting again with the prospective new employers on Friday morning, for a walk through of the buildings.....They want a commitment by May 1st, position would start June 1st....the X is crying for a covered parking space....

If it's only a 16 unit difference, then you're making the right decision in going with the Venice properties. Definitely don't want to pass this opportunity up. Congrats and good luck

:slap:
Seriously, for me, it's about the people you work for. There are two kinds; Those that appreciate you and your efforts and treat you the way they like to be treated and there are those that don't. Period, case closed, end of story.
I'd take less money to work for good people. The money, the work load, the beach (who said that?) are just icing on the cake.

Hello, American Airlines ;)
