I'm partial to Omega's. Not a big Rolex fan.

Not quite.
I was just relating the experience of seeing it. I was not really interested in buying or comparing it to other watches others have. I saw a yellow gold one like it in the case in Cabo and made the comment to the sales person that i wonder what it would look like with diamonds (The one I saw had none) She said let me look and see what I can find. I took off for other parts of the store and about ten minutes later my friend called me and said they have something for you. I looked and it was beautiful. It felt like it weighed 3 pounds. When i put it on it took on a whole different personality. I was really impressed with how the way it looked just drew me in and said BUY ME. Quote:

I love my Yachtmaster. Platinum though. Yellow gold or rose gold (it all looks yellow) is dated. Maybe I am from a different generation though. @ 27 I say you'd be hard pressed to find anyone under 30 wearing yellow (or rose) gold. Stainless steel or platinum is the way to go!! plus the value has gone way up in the last couple years! |
to each his own, but the only expensive watch that's ever been in my house was owned for two days by a boston mobster
it was sold for an antique car a year later. (I use my cell phone, tan line OCD :ninja: ) |
QwkAg,
