look out M5's....
This recent sighting of the Audi RS6 without the black-and-white checker boxes, shows that Audi is closer to the finished product. Caught by CarMagazine, the Audi RS6 was on its way to do more high-speed testing around the Nurburgring.
The next Audi RS6 is expected to carry a 5.2 liter V10 twin-turbo engine that produces 530 horsepower, giving it significant horsepower increase over its biggest rival, the BMW M5. Expect a 0-62 mph time of 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph. The Audi RS6 is expected to make its official debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September with sales to begin in 2008 in the UK. Estimated price tag is around £65,000. http://www.egmcartech.com/2007/06/18...e-nurburgring/ http://www.egmcartech.com/wp-content...blue_car_1.jpg |

I've never been to big a fan of the Audi "6" series. I love the "8" series and the "4" series, but the 6 series always felt like it was a pathetic compromise to the 5 series BMW.
Maybe this RS6 will change my mind on the matter. :dunno: B |
Check the video of RS6
BMW is also preparing their bi-turbo V10. That will go in X6///M. X6 engines: bi-turbo from 335 bi-turbo V8 bi-turbo V10 |
so how many hp is the bi-turbo v10 going to produce? and, when will it be available?

funny how audi needs twin turbos to put out 530hp with the 5.2 liter v10.
Bmw hit 500 hp with a normaly aspired 5 liter v10. Maybe its just me but I dont think 30 hp is "significant" in any car over 300hp Quote:
