what do you think about this color in the sport V8?? its called electric silver. i don't feel the pics do the color justice.

electric silver is nice though, but even $11k off won't convince me to buy a rebadged exploder. :thumbdown

I test drove the Sport back a few weeks ago and ran the numbers, I did get 12k off BUT to get that I had to finance through another Bank Vs Volvo FS which got my worse rates, so my lease payment was 800+ a month, so I said pass

For the car: It's quite nice, plenty of power but it is not a BMW X5, far from it!

I traded in my V70R for an X5 4.8 and did test the XC 90 Sport. The sport adds minor suspension changes, seats with colored pipping, some different gauges and larger wheels. They have already dropped the model and there are large discounts available.

I like the red one I tested but to me the handling was not like the BMW and it seemed slower to me with the smaller tranverse V8. Here it would have been $14,000 less than my BMW out the door price.

any confirmation... that there will not be a sport model for '08??

oh i agree... i would compare it more so to the old X5... indeed not the new body X5.

There will be a 2008, I contemplated ordering one
