Personally, I think it's easier to get warm than cool off - We get some 90s up here. but mainly 70-85 - with the strong sun, winter temps of 40-50 at shirt sleeve weather if the wind is calm - colder temps, dress in layers - never wore more than a shirt, sweatshirt, and my Navy flight jacket - never have worn my heavy winter jackets I brought out here from NJ - gave one to charity last year - this is where I wanted to retire - A Louis L'Amour fan - lots to see this side of the Mississippi - spent the 1st 50 years in the eastern half, time to see the rest of the nation

:withstupi The winters are fabulous, and worth the short hot summers. We will be reminding folks on the East coast of that when it's time to start answering the inevitable quesion "How do the 19's or 20's perform in the snow?". There are plenty of lakes here to cool off at as well. Kevin will agree with this reasoning as well; the hotter it gets, the less clothing the women wear :D

WELL MAYBE I ENJOY SINGLE DIGIT TEMPERATURES WITH WIND CHILLS TO -20!

Then again, maybe not! :D Winter here is great in December... Once January rolls around, and February, it gets bone-chillingly cold and winter really starts to get old.. It's around that time every year when my dad starts talking about moving to the Caribbean! By the middle of January, it's just depressing.. No leaves, nothing but cold. And it's not pretty either, because the sand and salt from the roads gets into the snow so it's all brown. I hate it!
