it's about $75 an update. i had my V1 updated for Pop. they don't give you a new detector, they just flash the rom on your existing detector and send it back. and no, don't send the cords, and no they don't send new cords. it took about 2 weeks round trip including roundtrip shipping.

In my opinion, it's quite worth it, because what they are actually doing is sending you a brand new detector, with a new box and everything.

that is true, depending on age they will upgrade you to new hardware. BUT, if your detector is relatively new, they just flash it and send it back to you.

Looks like my V1 is ready for the POP upgrade. Anyone know if POP is being used in Northern California?

My V1 has recently been quiet when CHP motorcycle officers stand alongside the bikes with what I think is Lidar. Seeing my V1 should pick up Lidar I'm wondering if it is POP.
