You gotta read this about the iPhone

An interesting revelation regarding the iPhone and believe you me this one i do not agree with. :thumbdown

Read this article. It's worth it. I posted this part because if true Apple may have some serious legal problems with trying to enforce it.

What happens when the 2 years are up? A renewal wasn’t a requirement. But no warning was given that the $600 phone (now $400) can’t be used after those 2 years unless it remains on AT&T. What if I move to Europe? I have to pay AT&T a termination fee. Does this entitle me to an unlock? THis has never been a problem before, but Apple just made it one.

I didn't know you cared about what makes my world turn. I'm flattered.

I dont care what you do or what makes you world turn cheif, it gets a little annoying seeing like 10 different iPhone threads, all started by you, and you making an arguement in all of the about why people should follow rules of the contract and that Apple will be sending updates that will make the phone useless. Why do you give a F!ck what other people do with the phone they bought, you would swear you paid for it or are losing money by them hacking the phone.

dr.jay:

Seriously What's up with the arm wrestle? Nobody's twisting your arm and forcing you to read any of the post i've started or commented in. If my posts annoy you then exercise your mode of intelligence like everyone else does and find another post to get involved in. :nanana:

If i decide to post 100 threads about the iPhone then that's my business. I don't complain about your opinion and the subjects you post about and i expect the same respect from you. If that not good enough for you then that's to bad

But just for your information i don't care what people do with their iPhones just like i don't care about your opinion regarding how many iPhone threads i post in. If i decide to make a point about it then that's my point and my view. You don't like it tough. Right now your annoying me so do us both a favor break it off while i'm still being nice. :nanana:

Hmmm...

Well, I'd like to thank Quicksilver for providing this info on the iPhone. Or more to the point what Apple is doing to their customers. I find it very informative and may have never known about it if it weren't for him. (Thank you QS! )

I have been thinking about getting one of these gadgets but the more I learn the more "nails in the coffin" are put in that idea. It's really a shame, the iPhone is such a cool device :(

Quicksilver 09-30-2007 03:48 AM

:trustme: Dollars to doughnuts a change is on the way. I may get one as well but I'll wait till the dust settles. ;)

Me too! I'd really like to have one, I hope you're right that change is on the way. Apple needs to loosen up a bit. PLEASE, continue to help keep us informed!

Looks like Apple is taking one out of Microsoft's play book and realizing there is a reason MS is so successful :)
