Your post is a bit of fresh air to me. You are certainly lucky but from what you wrote you are not spoiled. First because you realized that this is a very very nice car for a first ride and you obviously appreciate this. Second you seem not to take everything for granted if I read you properly. My first car was a piece of junk yet I bought a very nice used 3 serie to my daughter when she turned 16. I did that because I believed she deserved it for having worked extremely hard at school and for having earned her own pocket money working at some fast food places since she was 14. I told her that this was a reward paid forward for her future college admission. That was 2 years ago, I trusted her and she did not disappoint me. You too seem to be a good kid. By the way keep your savings as you may need them to keep your X well maintained. These are pretty expensive cars to maintain.
