I mean really "who cares". This Barry bonds stuff is not about steroids or lying. It's really about Mr. Bonds personality pure and simple. Do any of you honestly believe that if he was Mr. nice guy we would be hearing about all of this?

I am not a fan of Barry Bonds or a supporter or a hater and i don't even know the man but living in Giant country tends to give a better perspective of what's really behind it all.

I find it hypocritical that some folks don't mind paying $200.00 to go and glorify their favorite crankhead strum and burn his guitar then bang a bunch of road hags after the show while their wives are at home but won't say a word about that.

It's the same folks that go home and beat their wives, steal from the company, cheat their customers, lie on their income tax, abuse their children, and then grin in your face and call Barry a cheater.

If people just stopped for a moment and take a good long look in the mirror I believe they just might conclude that maybe just maybe they need to work on themselves before they spit evil about the affairs of others.

Previously the hate jury had spoken through their newly elected foreman Curt Schilling. Barry Bonds is a cheater. According to Schilling’s statements on Boston’s WEEI, Barry has cheated on his wife, his taxes, and most importantly Baseball. Schilling also said that Barry had shifty eyes, did not look “trustworthy”, and he heard from someone that Barry had attended meetings with Al Queda types. Oh, by the way, Barry likes white women and does not believe in God.

Mr. Shelling has his opinion. But if you look at the tone of what he said it's no different than the rest of the pointless gibberish others have said and it just feeds the climate of hate that others have continued to foster.

Say what you will we all have that right. Everyone's opinion is just that an opinion but once we begin to believe what we think and our conclusion borders on hate then it seems to me we have decided to infect ourselves with the terminal disease of hate and more than that we put ourselves in the position of taking the God job, that of judge and jury. Sorry folks i hate to inform you but the God jobs is taken. MOVE ON. ;)

There have been a series of players called on the carpet for steroids, not just Bonds.

That would be fine, and I would agree entirely, if they weren't deemed as "records" and these clowns were not pawned off as role models...which they are.

Quicksilver 11-16-2007 03:36 PM

You mean like those record setting one hundred million CD sales guitar burning drug using rock stars? The same clowns that are pawned off as role models... which they are NOT?. Baseball stars, sports figures, and politicians are nothing more that people. They are not role models.

The real role models are fathers who stay married to their wives. Work through the hardships of marriage and spend time with their children.

Sadly, the majority don't share that view.... :(

Quicksilver 11-16-2007 03:51 PM

And that's why the majority don't need to make decisions about moral code.
