I am a bit nervous about the interior being too cluttered bacause that comment has come up twice.

The Comparable Audi Is about 10K USD More, Listed Below
Power Tailgate (Option pkg) STD On Treg
Park Distance Control (Option Pkg) Std on Treg
Cricket Leather (Lux2 on Treg) 1000.00 on Audi Premium
Sirius Radio (Option Pkg) STD on Treg

I built a 3.6 Quatto Q7, and it came in at 52k with a 3.6 Premium
For me it's this way: Same exact engine, drive train, electronics etc, Why Should I spend 10k more for an Audi Name?

Subjective, Audi looks nicer IMO. Like arguing why a person buys an Acura over Honda, Lexus over Toyota..etc.

You Cannot Compare the Acura vs Honda and Lexus vs Toyota on interior quality, luxury content and engine/powertrain because few of those share everything but the interior/exterior design, VW is different I feel because all their vehicles are luxury-grade vs Just Audi

My POINT is, a Toyotas interior vs a Lexus interior is a whole different world, there is no comparing the materials, leather grade, simply luxury features etc, My Treg's interior is just as high quality as the X5's with the exception of the carpet which is not quite as nice, but that is my point, I've always not been a fan of Audi because the VW sister of say the A4 is just as nice and feature filled

But then we can go on and say that the leather in some Korean made cars are equaly as good as in the X. Over here, we have Czech made Skodas (Octavia) that use VW engines and parts. Basically, they are passats but cheaper and I don't compain about that. It is a bit about how the companies position themselves.
I personally like the Q7 a lot more than the Touareg and these cars over here costs close to 200k USD. Somehow, I understand the Audi being more expensive than the VW.

The Q7 is 10in longer than the X5, to clear that up. It doesn't just "LOOK" bigger--it is bigger. It's more of an MBZ GL competitor than an X5-sized vehicle.

If outfitted properly, the interior is beautiful. Unlike what most have said, Audi interiors are not cluttered. BMW interiors are just very simple.

The third row is far more useful than the X5's, but in the process you do lose a bit of handling fun. If you got an X5... I hope you know that the third row wouldn't ever be used, because nobody would ever want to be crushed in it. It was a bit stupid of BMW to even pretend to put one in there. It misleads buyers.

That ABT bodykit is smoking hot!

blondboi... Ajogu needs the third row, obviously. He can't look at the Touareg. The V10 TDI is awesome, though.

BTW:

From my experience with Audi cars (2000 A6 2.7T quattro, 1998 A4 1.8T quattro [bought used for my son], 2005 S4 Cabriolet, 2006 A3 2.0T DSG), they are far more reliable than some fanboys make them out to be. The worst problem I've encountered is that the A3 can have cold-start issues in winter. Other than that, the headlight washer cap flew off of the A6 on the highway, the A4 had an oil leak and I've had no problems with the S4. They are very rewarding to own and to drive. You won't be disappointed with the Q.

Thanks for the info. I am still witing for a test drive. My local dealer has the 4.2 V8 in petrol but the parameters are so different I said I'll wait a couple of weeks until they get the tdi.
Will update everyone with comments.
